Buddy got one at a pawn shop a year back. Hurts like a bitch to be stung with it but the one he had really didn't do a ton of damage. It'll stop whoever is after you as long as you keep it on them.

Virtually useless if the attacker has a 45-magnum.

If your going to get a taser, get one with EMD technology like the one below(athough a Smith & Wesson would be better or some type of semi-automatic weapon), .......

Advanced Taser M18-L
The new Advanced Taser M-18 series has almost 100% effectiveness rating. It combines the injury reducing benefits of traditional stun technology with a quantum leap in stopping power via new Electro-Muscular Disruption (EMD) technology.

fish, or how about those stun guns for around $60 with almost 1000 volts listed on that site you linked? looks like a good economical defense to me.

right just checked it, 50,000 watts compared to 1,000.

WOW!!

I think having a mere 1,000 watt taser could get you in more trouble than not having one at all.

That's volts not watts.

Putting 50,000 watts into anyone will leave only carbon and ash.
