That's right a Division III team won it all! How you ask???? Well it's quite simple (Well, not really.), but here we go!!!!!

Grove City beat Kings Point College
Kings Point College beat Kean College
Kean College beat Western Connecticut State
Western Connecticut St. beat Iona
Iona beat Duquesne
Duquesne beat Fordham
Fordham beat Albany
Albany beat Delaware
Delaware beat Richmond
Richmond beat Northeastern
Northeastern beat New Hampshire
New Hampshire beat Northwestern
Northwestern beat Miami (OH)
Miami (OH) beat Bowling Green (who also lost to Temple :) )
Bowling Green beat Buffalo
Buffalo beat Kent St.
Kent St. beat Akron
Akron beat North Texas
North Texas beat SMU
SMU beat Tulsa
Tulsa beat Navy
Navy beat Stanford (now we're getting close)
Stanford beat Washington
Washington beat UCLA
UCLA beat USC
USC beat Arkansas
Arkansas beat Auburn
Auburn beat Florida

So there you have it......your 2006 national champions.....the GROVE CITY WOLVERINES!!!!!!!!!!!! AFLGuru helped me trace this back and he deserves part of the credit. I'm sure we could trace it back to an NAIA team but I'm too tired. The key victories were Stanford beating Washington, Buffalo beating Kent St., and by far the biggest was New Hampshire beating Northwestern. Hope you all enjoy!

Okay, I just did the math... Based on margin of victory of these previous games, on a neutral field, Grove City would be favored by 265 points over UF...

RF... We were working on this one the whole 4th quarter... nothing better to do... I'm at work and he was giving me the PBP when I finally said... screw it... let's trace this back to I-AA... we made it farther than that...

I mean, we got this thing back to Grove City... believe me, if I could find a high school team that beat a dipshit college team, I'm sure we could get it back there.

I also find it funny that New Hampshire beat NorthWESTERN but not NorthEASTERN... hmm...
