Any one of these top 10 teams could beat any of the other if the circumstances and preparation are right. All this debate is wasteful in my mind, I really don't care who is declared the champion. Just because you lost a game at the right time and then got hot at the right time doesn't make you clearly the best. That is our problem we want simple, but in college football nothing is simple. Any decent team can go on a 4 game winning streak, so even the idea of a playoff doesn't mean we are getting the best. The only thing good a playoff does is gives us more games to watch, it doesn't give us a definitive best. Just like hoops. We should all come and admit that is the truth.

No system is perfect, that doesn't mean you give up on trying to improve the current system.

People are way overreacting off this title game..Ohio State didn't play for 51 days and lost their most dangerous weapon very early....Florida deserved the title tonight no doubt...but don't come in here after the game ragging the entire state of Ohio because of one game...a bunch of overreaction as usual.

Under no circumstances barring major injuries could OSU or Michigan beat Florida, LSU, or USC in a NC game (to name a few) - sure, anyone could beat anyone during the season but not with a month to prepare could one of these Big 10 teams win - not even 1 out of 10 times.

No more so than the overraction towards how great everyone thought Ohio State was all season...people talked as if they were the best college team in years while they didn't play anyone.

Excuse me but who did Boise play:puppy: , nealry lost at San Jose St. it took a 4th down conversion late in that game to save a loss, they trailed by 7 midway in the 4th...and of couse the hook and lateral with seconds left vs OK.

Yet everyone is now high on Boise like they steamrolled thru the AFC West ...whatever.

i'm so sick of hearing about boise st., boise st would have been under 500 in most major conferences so to disrespect florida and talk about boise being champs is just stupid.....i'm tired of it.....in 10 games against the following teams on a a neutral field they win 1 or 2 out of 10tops .....against; florida, lsu, usc, michigan, ohio state, tennessee, l-ville, texas, v-tch, west virginia...not to mention probably loses 6 or 7 out of ten to these teams...;wisconsin, arkansas, auburn, nebraska, clemson, cal, rutgers...not to mention many other low bowl teams that they would probably win 5 of 10 vs. such as miami, florida state, ucla, nd, georgia, etc....remember that team rarely schedules game away from the blue field with the exception of wac games.....i rest my case your honor...

Who cares what any of you think of Boise St!

FACT: They are the ONLY team to handle all their business. The so called champion can't even claim that. Only in I-A football would perfection lead to not even a sniff of a title or chance for it. Got to love it folks!

Boise St is the 2006-2007 Uncrowned National Champions!

I will admit I am seeing a lot of bandwagon people on board since Boise St won though. I think it is more of them latching on to wanting a playoff than believing in this team from the start.

Boise St had a good year but still...they wouldn't have beaten Ohio St like Florida just did even on a bad day for Ohio St. Just my opinion...maybe they will schedule a few games against some of those big conferences to prove us all wrong.

College football is ass backwards on so many fronts right now it makes me sick!

Teams wait 51 days to play their most meaningful game.

The clock rule changes are preposterous.

They instant replay way too many plays , yet still get it wrong!

All while trying to make the game speed up, all this does is slow down the game....and as I said they blow way too many of these replays anyway.

And of course the BCS rankings, and no playoff system, while every other division has one the Division I refuses to open its eyes in 2007!

College football is barely watchable at this point, because of all these stupid changes and archaic ideas.

Bottom Line Is That Florida Had Way To Much Speed For Ohio St Just Like Usc Had To Much For Mich. Ohio States Schedule Was A Joke While Flor Played And Beat 10 Bowl Teams. And Boise Doesn't Belong In The Same Sentence. Lsu Would Be A 10 Pt Fav Over Boise.

Agree, the above two aspects of CFB are just completely ridiculous on so many fronts it's not even funny.

Of couse any top team can beat another on any given day. That is why they actually play the game.

Florida dominated in every way. If there was ever a worthy national champion then this year was the year.

Anyone who truly believes Boise State would have finished with less than 3 losses playing in the SEC is on crack.
