Never have bought a new car usually buy a few year old car but the with the new 4 door jeep I really want to get one.

Its a dealership that says there is no negotiating. The sticker is the sticker. I thought somewhere I had heard the sticker is way over what the invoice is. Do any of you sell cars or know what I should be doing

depends on the demand of the model. i would say that 4 door jeep is in high demand and not too hard to sell for full sticker

Go to the dealership on the last day of the month and offer $5000 under sticker, they will work their way down while you go up. If you can get it down to about $3000 off sticker buy the Jeep.

They are hot right now but they do the dealership no good sitting on the lot

Ding Ding Ding. Always start low. Dont let them fool you buy showing you an invoice of what "they" bought the car for. Bunch of BS. Oh be very wary of interest rate. If they cant fuck you one way, they'll find another way to.

I never heard of Jeep saying the sticker is the sticker. Saturn and Carmax yes, but that must be the policy of that dealer, is there another dealer in the area ?

I've never beaten the price at Carsdirect and I've had multiple dealers just tell me forget it, they have no overhead when I walk in with their price...

Generally their price is about $500-1000 over invoice - incentives. On real hot models, it may be sticker.

Remember the dealer makes anything over invoice + usually an incentive for selling X # of cars. If he sells 5000 Nissans, he might get $500/car from nissan. So dealers can actually sell at invoice and profit.

For a Jeep, you should be about $500-800 over invoice... Jeeps are not exactly hard to come by.

Everything is negotiable in life. Don't just look one place, look for other place too. Usually, the best time to buy is on a raining day and also close to the end of the month, and also, I don't know where you live, but go to bigger city to buy it, there they have more competition, and thus, the price will be lower for couple thousand dollars sometime, so it's worth the trip.

Go directly to Edmunds.com. You will be able to figure within a very narrow range what you should pay. Do not listen to the car dealers, they are all just Wayne Allen Root wannabes. Listen to Edmunds.
