I think it's safe to say that Carmelo feels like the village f'ing idiot over his "stop snitching" video clip now that a friend of his has been gunned down.

They're having a hard time getting any info on this. Hard core gang bangers. One witness already got murdered just before testifying against the owner of the truck that was used(he was in jail at the time).

Man questioned in Williams murder now believed to be a suspect

DENVER - The man police questioned in the Darrent Williams shooting is now believed to be a suspect connected to the shooting, according to sources close to the investigation.

The same sources tell 9NEWS, not only is 23-year-old Willie Clark believed to be a suspect in the case, he’s also believed to have been inside the vehicle from which shots were fired on the Hummer limousine. Police do not think that Clark was the gunman.

Clark was initially arrested for a parole violation.

Williams, a cornerback for the Denver Broncos, was shot and killed in the early hours of New Year’s Day near 11th and Speer Boulevard after leaving a New Year’s Eve celebration at the Shelter nightclub. He was riding in the Hummer limousine with 15 other passengers when someone opened fire, hitting three of them. The two other passengers were both treated and released from the hospital.

Javon Walker, Broncos wide receiver, was also in the limo but was uninjured.

Denver Police Chief Gerry Whitman tells 9NEWS police are making, "good progress with the investigation."

On Wednesday, Clark was transferred to county jail. Authorities say he was transferred for his own safety, as he is linked to a high profile case.

Earlier in the day, Clark’s attorney, Michael Andre, told the Associated Press Clark was frustrated by his arrest and his family is fearful. Andre told 9NEWS police have not told him about the new information regarding Clark’s suspected involvement in the case.

Clark appeared in court on Wednesday on an unrelated misdemeanor traffic warrant for driving under restraint. Clark’s parole violation stemmed from a residence violation in that he was not living at the address he supplied to his probation officer.

Denver Police have asked 9NEWS not to show a picture of Clark. They also will not comment on whether or not Clark is cooperating or even if he has provided any information regarding the Williams case.

On Wednesday, the Denver Broncos announced that its players are offering a $100,000 award in addition the $2,000 currently being offered by Crime Stoppers. The award is being offered to anyone with information leading to an arrest and murder charges filed.

Anyone with any information about the incident should call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). Tipsters can remain anonymous. The phone line is staffed 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

Awesome when the police go after total scumbags like these animals. The sad part is if you're nobody and get murdered = nobody cares.

Put him in a room with the Broncos defense...heck, just the Broncos team for 2 hours. You know, for 'courtroom contempt.'
