I work in the GOM and meet people from all over the world on a weekly bases.

A guy comes on to my location the other day, and we somehow start talking about sportsbetting and poker.

He told me that he is making over $10K per month playing poker at PARADISEPOKER because he and his uncle both get on the phone with each other and tell collude.

I did not believe him at first, because he seemed like the BULLSHITER type.

So that night he asked me to come into his office. He had a laptop computer with a wireless internet conection. He made a phone call to his uncle in Oklahoma and they both went to paradise poker to the 5 player cash game table 5/10.

I watched the whole thing first hand, they basically cleaned house on those poor unsuspecting souls.

Him and his uncle do this almost nightly he tells me. At the end of every week, they figure out how much profit they made, and the split it evenly between each other.

He tells me that him and his uncle has been doing this for almost a year, and paradise has not disabled either one of there accounts, or even hinted of taking action.

Thats amazing since you have the same 2 people at the same tables almost nightly.

They got thrown out of PARTY a while back, but PARADISE has been a goldmine to them for almost a year.

I would not have believed it, if I did not see it first hand.

that is pretty amazing, how does Paradise not notice that

When you think about it, why should they care? They probably know what they are up to, but they keep getting that rake, so why bother?

They would have to hire additional tech people to control this problem.

Oh, I dunno...to protect the integrity of their site? So that people would actually go and play there?

I'm guessing there are plenty of fish who aren't aware this is going on.

I know a guy who has four different computers with different IP providers who plays four seats at the same table at one time. He has multiple identities, with account names of brothers, sisters, parents, etc. The other people at his tables never have a chance. He says he knows many others who do the same thing. With this kind of stuff going on, anybody who plays online poker needs to have their head examined.

Did you give this guy a kick in the junk after he showed you firsthand how much of a Grade A asshole he is?

I want to say that's incredible...but wow. It is incredible, but I'm not at all surprised.

I don't know where the guy is playing. I have heard too many stories like this to have any interest in online poker. If I want to participate in a rigged game, I'll go to a carnival. I couldn't tell you the first thing about any of the sites.

Yeah I told the guy I wasn't impressed by his dishonesty. Haven't spoken to him since.

I know someone who has 6 accounts with 6 different ip providers. He makes good money. Really easy money. Been thinking about it myself. But, you must understand how to play poker for it to work.

If someone with 6 seats at a 9 seat table cant win, they might as well just give up on life and end the misery.

He does not use all six accounts at the same table. He interchanges each account, so it is harder to detect cheating. Its not that easy. The programs would detect the same six players playing the same time everytime.

I thought it was pretty difficult to get seated at the same table? Isn't it somewhat random in order to stop this collusion?
