Is it worth the risk trying to play offshore still?

I'm not liking this at all now.
Skybook keeps calling me to reup but I'm scared to do this anymore.....Scared in terms of losing my loot! Any advice fellas?

Only you can decide what to do with your betting money. What many are doing is to stay with the established book, esp those that announced they will continue to accept US wagers. And many will reduce their accounts in light of the uncertainties now surrounding the industry.

I personally bet thorugh the end of March Madness, then maybe only horses now and then until football. So there's all summer for me just to watch what's going to happen.

I will be reducing my balance at all books before the Super Bowl. Just in case!

Ace you are going to die tonight of a heart attack if you keep this crap up man. Take a deep breath, go check out the dozens of other sites still willing to take your action, then exhale. See wasn't that easy?

Nah...I'm cool Bill....just pissed off......I still havent gotten my money back from Millenium and now Pinnacle of all book shuts out US players. Before I deposit elsewhere, I want to know what the reason was for them doing this.....is this Phase 2 of the US Govts operation to go get all the offshore action under control or what? Need some info....

Pinny decided they didn't want to take action from US players. There is probably more to it, but take it at face value. There was no new government action from what we can tell, but who ever knows? Certainly doesn't seem like a time we would see some DOJ action with a new session in Congress and all that is going on, this about the last issue you would expect.

Any truth to the rumors that they had agents on US soil that got busted?

I would love to know what is really going on behind the scenes right now -- I smell a rat I just don't know where it is or who it is. Did Pinny get an offer they couldn't refuse?

Why would they get an offer and then shut down? That makes no sense at all. I'm certain they have US agents and maybe a few did get busted along the way, but no reason to shut down a solid book though.

Well, I believe WSEX is one. If the Jay Cohen bust didn't close them, what will?

I know Wagerweb has announced that despite the US law they will continue to operate. They've been around for a fairly long time. I don't have an account with them any more (did six years ago) but may open one soon.

I belive CRIS has told the US Govt to shove it. Ditto for Olympic and others in the Greek family.

Other posters will have more info. Of course, just like when you make a bet you are sure will win - nothin' is written in stone.

I don't see why Pinny would dump US action just weeks ahead of its biggest, most profitable weekend = why would they do this so suddenly?? Something is up... did BoDog or The Greek cut a deal with them? Is there an Offshore Union forming that is expecting an assault from US Gov?? confused
