Seattle playing with a chip on the shoulder after Last Year SB?

I was watching a replay of last years for about 10 mins on NFL network and I couldn't believe the calls. Holding calls on the hawks when they barley even tocuhed, pass interference calls with almost no contact. After the Seahawks got robbed last year do you think that will give them extra motivation or is this a different team from last year?

They cannot run the ball this year...I think it will be a long day for the birds.

Sorry Bet, but when I read the phrase "chip on the shoulder," Seattle doesn't come to mind. They just don't play like they have that edge. When they're hitting on their offense, they can out-perform people... but up and lay the wood on a team for past transgressions? nope, can't see it.

Hasselback looked like crap ever since he been back, they will be history after this week. You know Alexander isn't going to show up.

The Seahawks have no shot at beating the Bears in Chicago this weekend. They have been an inconsistent team all year and were lucky to escape at home against a Cowboy team that was mediocre at best. They will find it tough to run and Hasselback will be under severe pressure the whole game. Defensively, they may stop the Bears at times but in the end, Chicago takes home the win without much difficulty in this one.

Not the same team without Hutchinson on the O-line. I'm not sold that Hasslebeck and Alexander are completely healthy either as QB has looked poor since coming back and Alexander is not having the same success whether its because of Hutchinsons absence or because he isn't healthy either. Jackson out with injury causes even more strain. The defensive line is small and undersized and can be pushed around and the secondary is average at best. Not a good road team and even had some close calls at home this year (where they are supposed to be unbeatable), dropping a few of them outright, to lesser teams. Kicker Josh Brown probably the only thing going for them right now. Laying two scores with Rex Grossman leading the charge isn't exactly attractive either. However, would be very surprised to see Seattle win outright and don't see it happening. Thinking about teasing Chicago down to 2.5 or less myself, we'll see, but Seattle playing with a chip on shoulder, no. BOL.

Thing that bothers me is the way Chicago finished the season

Vs. Tampa 34-31 W (Won in OT)
@ Detroit 26-21 W (Detroit was leading after 3)
Vs. GB 7-26 L

The line play on both sides is not nearly as good as last year.
