yea, i heard it too. they reported that sportsbooks are leaving u.s. market in droves after the law was passed to make it illegal for banks to do money transfers to sportsbooks. yada, yada, yada.

Does Pinny shutting down help the stock market?

I dont think it will increase trading volume.. But its just 1 less out as secure as a bank also with the ability to make you more dough.. to store more than 50g.

One thing it will help is US horseracing. I'm pretty sure they had a pretty big marketshare with the 7% rebate. A high percentage of large players as well.

On every horseracing board I've ever visited, Pinny has been the only offshore sportsbook that i've ever seen mentioned. I'd say 75% of computer savvy horseplayers have at least heard of Pinny, while i'd guess only around 20% have heard of Cris, or other rebate books.

They will really be missed by the horse players...That 7% is huge when playing horses............G
