i have 2 cds,1 money market,1 checking account, and 1 savings account, been in good standing with this bank for years, out of the blue i just got a letter today saying all accounts are closed and i will be getting a cashiers check in 10 days, the letter did not say why, only referenced their terms and conditions.i call the bank, put on hold 20 minutes, guy comes back and says they do not allow gambling transactions and there are several gambling transactions on my checking and saving accounts so they are closing all my accounts :WTF: ,the bank is flagstar

My buddy had all his accounts at citizens closed about 3 years ago... He had about 6 accounts all with 30+ wires offshore...

They closed them.

He took his $30/wire business across the street... Don't sweat it. There will always be banks that dont care.

Exactly.... There's no way they can say Neteller was used for gambling. You can use them for a lot more than that. However, the debit card use might as well shot fireworks off in front of them.

Neteller is used for much more than casino transactions..... Quit panicking!!!

Unless Neteller specifically released certain transaction details to your local bank, there would be no way the bank would know.

Thanks 777. I'm probably stopping now. I hope maybe Fishhead can add to this thread, I know he uses B o A too. Maybe others.

What did your debit card transactions show up as? I can almost guarantee you that this was the issue.
