I'm putting a little on Maggie Gyllenhaal to pull an upset in this category. Enough of the foreign press should have seen it to know that Maggie's performance was incredible. She was absolutely amazing and deserves this one...

Thread title should read Mon 1/15.

I'm also putting some on Little Miss Sunshine +1200 in the Best Musical or Comedy category. Dreamgirls is fading and the Foreign Press loves to reward indie comedies. Definitely worth a shot at that price.

One more...

Babel (+580) to win the Best Dramatic Movie category. Departed is the fave but I think voters will think they've rewarded the film by giving Scorcese the Best Director...now they are going to reward the picture that got the most noms.

BTW, everyone on the planet is already congratulating Helen Mirren on her win for The Queen. While it just may happen, I can't pass up the chance to put a little on Maggie to upset her. It's probably more of a personal play as the other two are definitely ones I think have a great shot of hitting at their prices.
