Members of the forum, if you have an account watch with Sprint please pay attention. These crooks are loading extra charges to customers account and are now getting caught. If you gave someone a phone around Christmas, please check their accounts....They added activation charges, they added some ridiculous power vision, and telenav GPS...Total of $61.00 per line.

I have been on the phone 4 times about this, finally I think it is now corrected. ASK FOR A SUPERVISOR RIGHT AWAY......

You are so correct...
I signed up with them back in august...I got the cheapest most basic plan they had...but when i got my first bill..they charged me for a lot of "add ons" ....I called them and asked the service rep.."who athorized all these add ons" ...like vision pack and unlimited text service...She completley avoided my question..and just said ..we apoligize for that and we will correct your account.

I will NEVER do business with Spring Corp again.

This is the most crooked operation known to mankind. They would make BoS look like saints.

Just look at their history: First, back in the 90's, they slammed unknowing customers onto their service at higher rates than they had previously negotiated. The only way to get the rate reduced, to what you were previously paying, was to invest several hours of your time on the phone with customer service. It was easier to jsut pay Sprint the higher rates and switch back to your old long distance company, only to be slammed back to Sprint a few months later and repeat the entire process. They telemarketed us to the point that we actually had to get Congress to pass a new law to make those bastards stop calling us at night.

Now, they're gig is cell phone service. I don't know where to get started with this. First, their service is HORRIBLE. Blanks spots in conversations, dropped calls and, even more annoying, voice mails that don't show up until they are several hours or even days old. Top it off with HORRIBLE customer service. It takes like 8 minutes of your time to prove to the computer that you are actually intent on talking to a human. Then the wait begins. After that, the rep you get is almost always new and knows less about Sprint's service than you do. Even worse than that, is, they are committing consumer fraud and getting away with it. They advertise a price, you sign a minimum one year contract, and when you get your first bill, it's 20 to 30% higher than what you agreed to. Surcharges. So much for $79/mo.

And don't you dare call directory assistance from your Sprint phone. It's like three bucks a pop.

And if you decide to leave before the contract is up, they WILL charge the early termination fee and they WILL NOT waive it. Doesn't matter that they've breached their commitment with late voice mails, pathetic customer service, dropped calls and just poor service. They have your social and if you don't pay them their ransom, they WILL file a black mark on your credit file. Easier to pay the ransom because the credit reporting agencies simply don't answer the phone.

The guys running Sprint Corp are pure SLIME. No morals at all. Hate their guts. I'll never do business with them again. EVER!

Later,

:youmad: Bell in Canada tries to pull the same shit off. My father has a small business and they just throw shit on his bill to the tune of $300 one month. I get fucked on their internet for "extras" that I do not use and never will. It is up to the customer to dispute the charges and have them removed with a lengthy phone call that most people just say fuck it and pay some of these $6 charges. All I can say is "CORPORATE FRAUD!"

They NEVER have an issue deleting the charges. HHHMMMMM wonder why that is... because they are bogus charges to begin with and don't need the R.C.M.P. and Revenue Canada snooping around the kitchen where they cook the books. :youmad:

The way to handle this is to send a letter of complaint to Bell with all the details with a copy to the CRTC. They won't do it again.

Not sure if you see the same shit in B.C. or not. If you use Bell for phone service I'm sure you have seen a few calls that you never made that just happen to appear on the bill.

I have a couple of friends that get phantom charges and as usual, Bell deletes teh charge AFTER they call in to complain. I would like to know just how much the crooks have scammed civilians and corporations alike in the past. This issue has been going on for years... ExpressVu is no different...No roomates or anyone else in my home but I get charged for an East Indian movie 4 times in one month. That was about 6 years back and that was a pain in the ass to get rid of. Fuck I can't even speak french albeit Hindu.

Payback for Sprint:
A little birdie told me that if (wink, wink) you are experiencing bad service, dropped calls or etc. that you can get a nice discount off your bill while you're taking a dump or have a minute of time on your hand. Call in using *2 and when the dumb CS computer comes on asking you what do you need help for, you say "credit for dropped call" then wait for confirmation and watch 50 cents disappear from you phone bill each time. It can be done 2 or 3 times you call in on the same call and don't speak to a human, just hang up. There is a limit that to which they will not let you do it after about $15-20 has been knocked off each billing cycle but it will refresh itself in a few days and let you start doing it all over. Again that's what a little birdie told me. Good luck

My first reflex was that this was complete bullshit, but it turns out to be true. The max credit per month is $10 or 20 credits. You can get up to 5 per call, so you'll have to call 4 times.

Google "credit for dropped call" for more info. So far, I see that it only works for Sprint. If I used them, I would do this every month to pay them back for their shitty service.

From what I heard you can get more than $10 a month if you know how and when to place the calls but it works from what I've been told.
