I'm also debating Dante and I feel the risk of loosing my checking account would far far outweigh having a Neteller account. But I want to wait about a week to make a final decision. I know there will be those here that say nothing to worry about, but at this point; I would beg to differ.
Good topic.

Once you close the acct---your chances of not loosing checking go way down. Hell--I've paid my taxes on winnings; that's not my fear!

How would you lose your checking account?

Are you saying you believe your bank would close your bank account down if Neteller goes down.

Interesting worry.......one that I personally am not to concerned with.........the closing of my bank account that is. Neteller may very well not be an option in the coming months ahead.

great thread title...unfortunately I am not seeing a lot of other options in the thread. I would never voluntarily close my neteller account as I have never had a problem with them and feel secure with my funds.

so what do the wise RX mods suggest?

if BofA closed my checking account it would probably be a blessing...they do nothing for me, though no fees and lots of ATMs are a bonus I guess.

why wouldn't you set up a separate checking account specifically for Neteller? You can use more than one bank to keep funds you know. Very easy.
