Haha Nifong has asked to be removed from the case...I'm not a lawyer but I would think the players would have a dream slander case against him. He is broadcasting to millions of Americans his view of their guilt, plus he is in a position of power. If Brittany Spears or other celebs can sue the rag mags for false statements, the Duke players should be able to sue this asshole.

if they sue him it certainly can't be for slander. But there may be other ways to get to nifong, even if it is just getting him fired or disbarred.
