Heard on WEEI's opener today:

  • That game was actually part of the first episode of 24.
  • Did Marty trade Babe Ruth did or something? Why is he cursed?
  • Marty runs the Saddam Hussein offense - hang around and hang around until you choke.
  • Hey Marty, hope you get the 10 cent deposit for the can of Whoop-Ass we left on the field
  • Hey Marty, did you have your resignation attached to the red flag?

I'm not a big Pats fan although I am a die hard Red Sox fan.

With a bit of a different perspective here, I can easily see how we annoy others. LOL.

Don't really understand how the Pats and their fans can be so haughty after this game. They, particularly "Mr. Playoffs Tom Brady," looked like total shit and if they were playing a team with a coach who knew his elbow from his asshole they would have been sent home by the 3rd quarter.

Take your lucky wins and move on, but don't gloat about them...

We gloat when people say LUCKY win.

As much as people find the gloating irritating, Pats find the "LUCKY WIN" irritating.

For the Pats, its always a LUCKY WIN.
For the Yankees, it's always a championship they BOUGHT.
For Duke, its always the McDonalds All-Americans they recruit.
For the Bulls, it was always the CALLS that they got.

Boys and girls.Prepare yourself for "rope-a-dope".

At halftime the Bolts will be kicking the Pats ass all over the field and the score will be 13-10 Bolts at half and you'll be saying to yourself "fuckin Chargers should be leading this game by 30!"....Then the tipping point will come when the Masters of the playoff Universe take the game over for a 24-21 win....and all the sour pusses will be saying"The better team didn't win""Pats were lucky"...blah,blah blah

San Diego has no one to blame except themselves. THey blew it. Admit it, accept it and deal with it. Sometimes young inexperienced teams need to learn how to win. Do not worry about the Patriots dancing or whatever. Worry about next year or if you must curse your punt returner for fumbling them trying to pick it up rather than drop on it. Or maybe the seconday player who should have knocked down the 4th down pass because it was well past the line of scrimmage but chose to intercept and then fumble. Come on, do not let the Pats bother you. You do it all by yourself!
