Kind of surprising for an NFL playoff game on what was a pleasant day for Chicago in January..

It either says that a certain percentage of Bears fans have already written off " The Monsters of the Midway"

Or that ticket brokers got stuck with a bunch of tickets that they couldnt move to the an apathetic fan base.

And judging by the number and price of tickets that the brokers are charging for Sunday's game....they're controlling ALOT of them and wanting a small fortune.

Trying to recoup their losses from yesterday I guess ???

Are they just conceding defeat to the mighty Saints or something?

If they started Griese on Sunday, it would have probably sold out.

Bears fans had the "show me" approach to the last game. That was their first playoff win since beating New Orleans in 1992. Don't look for any no-shows this week.

trust me guys... the city is absolutely nuts right now.... ticket brokers were asking ridiculous amounts for the tickets that might of had a little something to do with it... but it has nothing to do with fan base.... Chicago is one of if not the best sport town in America so this thread is really really pointless.... but hey our team is 1 win away from the super bowl and cant wait for next sunday

Chicago has some of the best fans in the world... just because of this they dont have good fans... My family paid 2k a pop for white sox world series tickets 8k total... for bears tickets last year we paid 500 a pop... and they lost a lot of people over paid last year and the bears lost... if you pay 2k for tickets and your team loses and brokers try ot sell them fo rthe same hte next yea ryou become hesitant...

Last time i checked the bears sell out every game for the last 10 years...

The saints have sold out over 90% of there home games since moving into the Super Dome.

Thats pretty good considering that the Saints are in the smallest market in the NFL, and we have a 35% winning percentage lifetime.

Saints fans are among the tip top best in the world.

I don't know if I'd go that far...the image I get anytime I hear the word "Saints" is those fans wearing paper bags over their heads and calling their own team the "Aints".

exactly, being from Chicago he is exactly right.... last year me and my Dad paid $2,000 for tickets and were BEYOND pissed after the game and we told ourselves no matter what were not buying tickets next year... UNLESS they win the a playoff game first... so what did they do? They won a playoff game and now were going again! I cant wait to go! and trust me the house will be PACKED

At least they bought tickets to the game and supported them.

The Saints were selling out nearly every game the year they went 1-15.

Voicing your displeasure, and not supporting them, are two different things.

There were plenty of empty seats in those days.

I am from Michigan and despise Chicago fans but can promise you they are GREAT fans. You can't even compare Chicago fans to Saints, Chicago fans win hands down.

With that said I love and need the Saints this weekend. Go Saints!!!

Some of the videos with 4 aints fans with bags over their heads and 50 empty seats behind them are hilarious. Probably when one of the fourteen different Billy Joe's were quarterbacking the team.
