I deposit x amount and they take a cut. Now how do I get these back or how does this work? I know I have read it on here before but can't find it.

You get them back. Instead of paying the 2% commission after each winning bet, your commission credits are used up. Once they run out, then they start taking the 2% from your winning bets.

you deposit 1000, 29 goes to credits,971 to bet with.

you win 100 on something, you get 100, 2 off of credits, if no credits you get 98.

When you win instead of paying the 2% commission on the winning ticket they take it out of your commission credits til you run out then its taken out of your winnings

Remember, you play commission free the first two weeks your with Matchbook, so your commission credits will remain the same during that span.

I believe that deal requires a $1,000 minimum deposit for those looking to take advantage of it, BTW.

How come I have 0 credits. I have never made a withdrawl, and never used any credits before.

I thought you needed credits to get the money back that they took away from you when you made your deposit.

Are you saying that I will never recover the funds that they took out when I made my first deposit?

Its no big deal if they do, because it was not much money.

I never got any trades commision free, ever!

you probably used the credits, already. If you won some bets the commission was taken from the credits.

what happens if you pull back out after 1 bet and don't use your commision credits up? I assume they hold them for when you come back?

yes, they remain in place, but you'll still get "charged" 2.9% when you come back, so if you were to draw out after every win, you'd build excessive credits.

If I don't have a problem with too many credits, you won't either ! :toast:

The system confuses many, but I'm cool with it.

yes you did !

you win something for say 100, they charge 2% fee on winnings. if you have credits they pay you 100, take 2 from credits, if no credits you get paid 98.

Think of their lines being 2 cents worse than you see -104 is really like -106, so -105 at Cascade is better than -104 at MB.

But I dont ever remember having any commision free trades. But that was well over a year ago, and it was when I was new, and learning the place.

Maybe I did get a few free trades at the beginning, but did not fully understand the system at the time.

No big deal. It was just a few bucks anyway.

that offer may not have been in effect at that time, it wasn't when I went in, but I think there was like a $50 or $100 sign-up bonus or something.

This current offer is much better for somebody that is actively trading.

I've never had any disputes with the way things were graded or credits applied.

They can be a bit slow grading late games, but it doesn't matter because overnite betting is useless there for lack of offers. They pay fast enough, usually within 2 hours.

Thanks for your info DOUG. I was really confused on the policy. I had no idea what they were for.

I don't know how you could play there for a year without knowing how that worked.

I expect MB to become more important to many, there are some things they can improve, but they are very good overall.

Ive never made a withdrawl, and only one deposit.

Always paid the commision on every trade.

I guess I started there before all that started. I have been there longer than most.

The commission free trading in the initial two weeks(if sending 1,000), equates to having ONE CENT VIG on many sporting events.........especially the NFL.

HARD TO BEAT.......
