Does Phillip Rivers have a weak assed arm or is it just me that thinks so? It looks to me like anything over 20 yards has a rainbow on it. IMO if they wouldn't have let Drew Brees go, the talk this week would be who gets the monkey off their back, Shottenheimer or Dungy. Instead we will listen to how great Bellicheck is and how Marty sucks and how Dungy is too nice to be a winner. :puke1:

He has a bit of an unconventional delivery, but it seemed to me like he can make all the throws quite nicely. I was impressed by him.

Charger fans did just fine. They got rid of the right person.

Drew is in a better place.

I love the Chargers.

They are my new 2nd favorite team.

A.J Smith is a genious.

Phillip Rivers is the perfect QB for your team.

I remember everyone calling the Saints unlucky getting Brees while I sat and watched the news like are u fucking serious haha....

Also Chargers all year acted like Rivers was the answer

I ALMOST PISSED mYSELF when they said that... I am so scared of BREES as a Bears fan... HE IS DYNAMITE... but good thing you guys didn't overpay for him and his torn SHOULDER HAHAHAHA!

funny you say that as i thought the same exact thing yersterday. Granted I don't watch many SD games because I live in Michigan.

I have never been one to go overboard on arm strength as accuracy is more important to me (IMO) but I stated the same thing to a buddy today about how Rivers looked very weak to me.

I thought I was the only one who has been noticing this. I was in the field level yesterday, so I had a close-up look. It was like watching an MLB pitcher on one team and a high-schooler on another. Rivers has such puss for an arm, it's unreal. Brady has a cannon. Every ball is thrown with an arc by Rivers and takes forever to get there, and he can barely throw 50 yards without putting his entire body into it
