Dow Futures trade $10 for every pt that it moves........ can trade the mini dow for $2 per tick..

SP 500 $250 per tick
Emini SP 500 $50 per tick

Fish, did you hear me tell you..... any commodity broker will take your action..

you can legally bet each morning by simply buying or selling a futures on the dow or sp.......... if you think its going to be an up day, you can buy it and make $10 for every pt ---- that it moves higher or loe $10 for every pt it moves lower..........

if you think its going lower,,,,, simply sell yourself a dow or sp future....... it will then work the same way.......

if your daytrading, you must get out before the close (3:15 pm cst)....

to get out, you will simply do the opposite of how you entered......

I know some sharp people that have have lost their ass trying to "guess" which way the Dow was going to move. Good Luck

have to get in and out at the right spot............

if your daytrading, loss is always limited to your stoploss placement.... tremendous volume in SP, so no slippage will occur.......

lot of setup opportunities to "scalp" points all day long, if you know what your doing........

im not much into daytrading but used to be.........

I've looked into trading this way before but never thought for a minute that it was as good as just buying and selling in the actual stock market. 10% juice or more vs $7 stock trades. I'll take the $7 trades.

not at all sure what you mean about 10% juice..

lets say you buy walmart at $47 per share......... you have to tie up $47,000 to buy 1000 shares...... if it goes to $48 you make a grand.... if it goes to $46, youve lost a grand. if only on paper...

i can take a posistion in the dow futures at say 12,500....... if the dow moves to 12,600 (i have made $1000), if it goes to 12,400 --- then i have lost $1000...........

i can do this trade for $25 rt........... your Roundturn will cost $14..... because its $7 in and another $7 out.............

ill take my shot with buying the dow...... i could do this trade, if its a daytrade by only having to tie up $1025........ and thats just for one day, while your going to tie up $47,000..........

no thanks,,,,,,,,, if we are talking about trading......... if your talking of "buying and holding", thats a different story......
