4-Card Poker.....

Man I love this game. Fell in love with it last year at a local Indian casino. Pretty profitable too, I've left with $500 couples of times, once after only 15 minutes.

I know regulars who sit there every day playing from morning to night. That's crazy but I understand because it's a very addicting game and can be profitable.

I've yet get a hand with 4 of a kind or straight flush, but I've seen a guy (who was sitting right next to me) get 4 Kings with a $50 bet. Paid almost $5000.

If off-shore books close down completely, Im planning on driving to Vegas to bet so might as well play something while games are in progress.

Do you mean 4 Card poker, or Crazy 4 Poker?

I think 4 card poker is an Atlantic City thing, although I might be wrong.. Crazy 4 is at several casinos throughout Vegas, and has better odds

Never heard of Crazy 4..... could u explain to me?

4-card Poker is where you are dealt 5 cards and you make the best 4 cards. Dealer is dealt 5 + an extra card. So if you have four diamonds and one heart, that's a flush. And it pays 8 to 1.

Betting is similar to 3-card Poker.... you got Aces Up (bonus only pays pair of Aces or better), Ante (up to $100), Play (up to 3X ante).

Treasure Island used to have this game. Not sure if they still do. Been about 2 years since I seen it there.

Crunch

In Crazy 4 Poker, everyone including the dealer gets 5 cards, and uses 4 of them.. Dealer qualifies with KING high.. Instead of an Aces up bet, its a Queens up bet.. Queens or better wins.. Ante and superbonus have to be equal bets, and the play can be up to 3x ante if player has Aces or better.. I deal this game all the time.. I work at a Harrahs property, and most Harrahs casinos have it

Check out this game at wizardofodds.com.. Definitely a house game, like all carnival games, but fun to play

Thanks everyone for the info.

So you guys really think it's a sucker game?

I don't know, this is the only table game I've been winning consistently at. Last 7 times I played, about 4 times I left with $300-$500. No luck with blackjack at all. I could play 8 hours and I'd be even or up $100.

It seems like everytime the table goes on a win streak, a new dealer comes and just destroys the table or someone new joins and busts the table. Last time this drunk hispanic kept spliting 10s and hitting with dealer showin 5 and 6. Everyone at the table was yelling at this guy but didn't care.... would've gone to another table had the casino not been packed. Good thing is he lost about $700 before leaving. Bad thing is everyone else lost too because of that idiot.

I used to play 3-card all the time, until 4-card came around.

Once got two straight-flush within an hour while playing 3-card. But I don't like it anymore.
