I asked a established local if I could post up money with him and bet off it until it doubled or was gone. It was an attempt to limit how much I got down to him and not chase. He wouldn't let me do it. But, he had been a bookie for like 30 years and didn't want to do it any other way than settle with everybody on Tuesday. Either that or he knew people would lose more and bet more if they could just call up a bet and run credit. Kind of the theory of credit cards for consumers. I was still shocked at the time(12 years ago before off-shore for me) he wouldn't let me do it.

I can't imagine a local trying to hustle business on a forum. Boy, is that a recipe for trouble. They must think only a certain type of people follow these forums. Believe me, there are people in both black and white hats that read these threads. Take it from someone that has been there. It blows my mind the way people talk about how much they won or are playing. Just a recipe for trouble from your tax man or worse yet the local Feds.
