Parents were pissed he didn't get the ball instead of McFadden. Guess he agreed to and is transferring.

Where are ya pal? What happened here? When this kid came out of Hi School he was one of the most sought after guys. Is it all Nutt`s fault, the kid, the parents. He must have SOME talent no? Where is he going? We`ll take him. GG just hired a TE coach to be the head guy for God`s sake. What the hell do we know?

The coaching staff lied their rear ends off to these kids. They hire their high school coach as the offensive coordinator and promise Mustain and his high school teammates that if they come to Arkansas, they will be the studs running the same high-powered offense from high school. Nutt then realized what a stud McFadden was and gave these guys the shaft. The coordinator already moved on to Tulsa. If you were Mustain, you'd be pissed off to. He could have went anywhere but listened to a lying coach. I know if I were a high school senior, I wouldn't believe Nutt.

McFadden has been a stud since he was about 14

so his development is no surprise to anyone.

The Springdale trio of Mustain; WR Williams (transferring to Miami-Fla); and TE Ben Cleveland (also transferring) will ALL turn out to be college disappointments.

As for Mustain, he will almost certainly follow his former high school coach to Tulsa (the new offensive coordinator there) where Todd Graham was recently hired as head coach. In his one season as head coach at Rice, Graham, who was formerly an assistant at Tulsa, spread the field and threw the ball on offense.

That has to be attractive to Mustain.

Texas and Notre Dame were among his other finalists during his recruitment. However, solid sources tell me Texas is not interested.

Mustain is going to be a Golden Hurricane.

Good luck,
Paul
