Now, it was only $18, but I wouldn't throw a 20 dollar bill in the trash, either.

I got my cash deposited into my bank account yesterday, but it was $18 shy of the requested amount. I still had my free monthly withdrawal request, and my bank takes a fee, but after the fact.

I checked with my bank and they confirmed the amount, so I checked back with Pinny and was told this,

"Please be advised that in most cases, wire transfers are processed via more than one bank before arriving at your bank. Each bank seems to think they deserve to take a little fee. We have no control over this."

Huh?

Can anybody help me out with this, or am I just out $18.

Just got this from customer service.

"Please note you are not an isolated case of client that told us that received a smaller amount via Bank Wire.

Wires are sent automatically to be processed in our Bank. We can assure you the wire was sent for the full balance in your account.

We regret for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding."

I have no idea what this means, but I have a feeling it means I won't be seeing my money.

yeah you're out $18

not pinnys fault.

has happened to me at least a dozen if not more times over the last 4-5 years.

funny thing is it is always some crazy amount, like 16 or 18 or 22... and it is always on the wires... Have always been told it was some middleman bank taking it.

just be glad you got something... could be worse (ask anyone that was ripped off by BoS)

was your wire => 5 figures?

Some middle banks have started taking a fee.

It used to just be the sending bank.

Then recipient banks started charging.

First time this happened to me was about a year ago.

Sportsbooks wire to London or Canada and then to you... Middle banks are now taking $0-30.

If I get paid after the Aussie Open I don't care if it's $180 short....as as long as I get.

Maybe not yet, Chop.

They are "looking into it."

Most likely just delaying the inevitable.
