Dear Senator,

This letter is a very serious one about our freedoms being lost in America. This is no longer about Republicans or Democrats. This is about America, the land of the free and what is happening.

I like to wager on football and even play a little poker. I am sorry Mr Senator but I am not a criminal.

What is going on recently is a sad story for the American people. In October of 2006 Senator Frist snuck the online gambling bill in to a very important Port Security Bill that crossed a line of trust and faith in America.

Sure there are issues with gambling. We need to take addictions seriously and of course we want to keep our kids safe.

With that being said there are people who are businessmen being arrested and treated worse than terrorists.

I think you will find that most gamblers also do not like terrorists and would like to help anyway we can. Lumping gamblers or poker players with this group is insulting, degrading and flat out not right.

When are the politicians going to step up for the freedom and right as Americans to participate in a no harm hobby?

I urge you and other Political voices to stand up for what is right and protect us Americans from our own government.

Please speak up now. This is critical and what will be next? Please do the American thing and stop this vendetta or crusade if you will on Gambling.

Obviously our country say it’s okay to play the lottery, horse racing and other forums of gambling. Please help Americans and please help America from being the laughing stock.

I am a proud American and my rights are being violated. Please step up and do something about this.

Thank you in advance.

Respectfully,

Whatever happened to that Simpson boy from USC?

I sent something like this to Ron Paul, to get his stance on gambling and this is what I got back..

Hi Concerned,

Dr. Paul’s opinion on all gambling is that what you choose to do with your money is your business.

The federal government has no Constitutional authority to regulate ANY media outlet as well and the internet is a media outlet.

Thanks for your question.

In Liberty,

I bet you he still voted for the bill to be passed. Remember that female senator who called the bill ludicrous and still passed it?
