Considering all that has transpired over the past few weeks or so, it's obvious there are a large number of both new and old posters looking for a new out. All too often these forums are used to provide horror stories, while we don't take the time to praise sportsbooks who are deserving of a good word.

Just wanted to provide my .02. I've been using offshore books since I made my first wager with betmaker back in 1997. Been with nearly every major book since, however over the past few years, BetJamaica has HANDS DOWN become my all-time favorite. Generous bonus' and loyalty program, great wagering options, quick to post halftime lines, SECURITY AND RELIABILITY IN TERMS OF FUNDS...IF THEY EVER GO DOWN, I GIVE UP ON THE OFFSHORE INDUSTRY, and a customer service team which is, WITHOUT A DOUBT THE TOPS IN THE INDUSTRY. I challenge anyone who has dealt with BJ to claim otherwise.

Over the past few months, I have directed a number of friends / acquaintances to BJ. I now look like a genius, considering all that has transpired....lol. At this point in time, BJ is the ONLY book I recommend on a personal basis.

Yeah, I know I sound as though I have the Orange and Green pompoms out here, but sometimes a sportsbook is deserving of a few good words.

I believe it's a free-play for every 100 wagers made. The Bonus Play amount is based on the amount wagered.

I thought I heard you get 1 Bonus Bet after you make 100, not 100% sure as I have never used it. but I echo the sentiments in this thread.

great out and good feedback! :103631605

You absolutely get 1 free wager (either straight or Parlay) for every 100 wagers placed. The amount of the play is based on your average bet up to a max of $200. I think I've used it 33 times (over 3+ years). You must call CS to claim your loaylty plays.

Bet Jam's main problem (for me and others) is their insistence on seeing a driver's licence when withdrawing.

Jamaica is not a Firist World country. How many people in Jamaica get the info on the DL? Is it copied? (It must be.)

I personally don't play with any book that requires an ID, if you are depositing or withdrawing via an eft. Even a 1% risk of identity theft somewhere down the road is too big a price to pay.

A cs person there once told me: "We like to know who our customers are."

Why? You want the kind of info on a DL - why? Other books don't require it, why do you?

All valid questions for Bet Jamaica.

sd2, I understand your point. I just got to ask you this, did you use Pinny's e-Check method before Pinny stopped serving the U.S.? The reason I ask is:

Pinny's e-check page upon EITHER making a deposit or withdrawal had asked you for your driver's ID. I have no clue how they could have confirmed that info if we are telling the truth but I had no qualms of sharing that info if it helps them believe "I am who I am".

It's more of another "field" on a form on a page to fill, that's how I look at it myself.

When I send them my ID, I black out any information I dont want floating around. Basically, they get my state and name. Was good enough for them.

Of course, most if not all books will ask for that info if you use a credit card. And some in First World countries will ask regardless (I did fax it once to Austalia - Bet Australia was the book I think).

But I'll pass on giving that info to Jamaica, Panama, Antigua, Costa Rica, an Indian Reservation in Canada, a tortilla factory in La Paz, the book in the rear of Tony's Pizza in New York, the one in the alley next to the best Chinese food in Frisco, and to any of a dozen chop shops in L.A.

They want it on withdrawals. At least, that's what a female cs rep told me via email at start of football season. Something to the effect that they want to know who their customers are. Like a dosssier . . .(!)

Fortunately, I'm lazy about clearing out old email, so here is the reply I received in early Sept from BetJam when I asked if I may be required to provide a DL or other govt issued ID when making a withdrawal, even if I deposited and withdrew via Neteller.

Thanks for the inquiry. Please be aware that it is a policy of ours to know our customers, so you maybe asked to provide ID before a withdrawal can be made.

Regards,

Shayla
