A lot of casinos on Native American reserves here in California but no sportsbooks...how come?

Its against Federal law...even for Native Americans. Theoretically, they could open a sports book in one of the few states "grandfathered" into the Federal law. A few years back some tribe in Oregon--one of the aforementioned states exempted from Federal law--talked about opening a big sports book but to the best of my knowledge nothing ever came of it...

Yeah--it would solve a lot of our problems as there's a native American casino just about everywhere now....
