Here's what I was thinking. I'm basically I'm getting 7 half points (from -.5 to +3) for 38 cents. Granted, going from -.5 to +.5 really isn't anything, since NBA games can't tie, so it's more like I'm getting 5 half points for 38 cents.
5 half points would cost me 50 cents, if I have to buy them directly. So my question then is whether or not going through the 1, through the 2, and onto the 3 is worth 38 cents in basketball?
