Have the gambling community join together and boycott all sports. Don't watch any sports on TV, no ESPN, Super Bowl, anything. Don't go to any games. If enough people do this to affect the ratings, the stations, advertisers, and leagues will take notice. The problem is getting enough people to commit to cause an impact. How many people would commit to not watching the Super Bowl? I would. Just like now was the perfect time for the US to get tough, just before the big game, now is time for us to make some noise. Lower rating on the Super Bowl and March Madness could be an effect.

Or you could just go to someone's house who you know will watch it regardless of your principles... this way you get the best of both worlds.

never happen....simple as that...you can attempt to boycott buying tickets to live events but to join together the massive amounts of people to not watch the SB....isnt gonna happen....

if it were that easy...we all collectively would just vote a pro-gambling dem/repub too office....we are in the minority...remember that....

This idea is worse than "lets not buy chips and soda at the gas station" to stick it to the oil companies.

I hope governments bring in a 6pm to 5am curfew, maybe then people will get up and riot and give the governments a spanking.

Not buying gas will stick it to the oil companies, not buying chips and soda will stick it to the food companies which will not affect oil. My idea will stick it to the people who make money off of sports; the media, the advertisers, and the leagues. When they see viewship all of a sudden drop, they will wonder why.

If somehow, all gambling became impossible, no office pools, no fantasy leagues, can't even bet a beer on the outcome, interest in sports would go down considerably. Who would watch 2 poor college teams, especially when the score is 28-3. The point spread and over/under keeps the viewers, along with the alumni. If every one who bets online boycotted sports for the next 6 months, it will be noticed by the people who make the big money off of sports. Problem is, getting enough people to have an impact.
