Has anyone sent $ via WU in the past week? If so...

I need to send/deposit to book via western union.
I have read in other posts that if <1k, there is no need for ID or personal information. You could even use alias name. Can someone please confirm that this hasn't changed. I have never used WU before. Thanks.

no problems here. just make sure the sportsbook allows you to send in this manner.

Id Only If Over 1000. Watch Those Wu Charges Tho !!! If T He Book Dosent Pick Them Up They Are Very Costly. I Sent $950 Today And The Charge Was $65. The Greek Pics Up My Charges Tho. See If Your Book Does As Well

If the book picks up the fees, how does that work for you. Do you tell WU that the receiver is going to pay the charges. Or do you pay, then get credited back by the book?

You pay the amount...say you send 900 and it costs 65, the book puts 965 in your acct.

I sent funds this week using western union- I always use my old friends name (people I have not kept in touch with)
