Should have called time-out after 2 minute warning. Lost 35 seconds and way too much pressure with .24 seconds left to execute.

I couldn't believe the clock management either, very poor for such a great coach imo. Brady should have gotten the ball back with at least 1:30 left on the clock.

Too many other plays went on in this one to put the loss on him...but that was terrible clock management for sure.

yeah I couldn't figure out what he was thinking. The Colts were 13 yards away, they were either going to tie it or win it, the clock wasn't any pressure on the Colts at that point....save the time and give Brady the extra 35 or 40 seconds. Plus, it gives your tired ass defense a blow.

No, he lost game on previous posession. If he ran the ball at midfield he would have forced Indy to use last timeout, maybe, if not the burn 2.5 minutes off clock instead of 30 seconds which is what happened, instead PM had plenty of time to get downfield. That was the key factor in this game. If they ran 3 times, Colts get ball back with less than 1 min

As soon as I saw the clock winding after the 1st down run I said the same thing, why not call a T.O. ...they lost a good 40 seconds.

Colts had 2 timeouts, they would have gotten the ball back with 2 minutes minimum, I don't blame him for going for the win there, that's what makes him a great coach.

These fucking NFL teams have to hire one of us gamblers to do all the clock management THINKING for them.

Yeah, that was a coach not in the mood for a media moment.

Huh? The incompletion was on 3rd down. Indy would have used the a timeout there if it was a run play.

It had no influence on the clock. Not to mention a 1st down there seals the game.

Love to come in here and read degenerate posts how the greatest coach in twenty years "blew it".Clock mgmt had zero to do with the ending. They had time for four more plays and had a t.o. in their pocket. You want to blame somebody blame Reche Caldwell's pharmacist who gave a few thousand milligrams too much.

Caldwell is your goat here but scoring too fast in the 4th qtr didn't help.

Caldwell hurt them but all he did was keep them from scoring in the 40's. If you want to put blame on something, look no further than the defense.

Caldwell and the Pats d deserves plenty of blame, but saying "clock mgmt had zero to do with the ending" is about as stupid as it gets. I'm sure Brady would have appreciated 30-40 more seconds to work with. Face it, "the greatest coach in 20 years" fucked up.

I think it is stupid to make them do an interview immediately after losing the game...what do you expect them to say? You are going to get cliche answers everytime.

okay , maybe a NE t.o. was more key at 1:45 approx - I was screaming for pats to keep clock moving and it wasn't happening starting with that 12 man penalty - DAMN! An incomplete pass in that situation is lethal
