Yikes now on mainstream media. Hell no it's not illegal. Just the money flow is what's illegal.

Maybe they'll start to put more pressure on WU to be more specific about the information of recipients... information they can use to follow up on? Start finding out who issues ghost recipients to begin with? If the US wants to, they'll stop it.

I would bet every WU transfer over $1000.00 is being sent to the feds. If it is sent to a country where sportsbooks are located in. Some how the US thinks every gambler is now a terrorist.

Anyone who bets offshore provides a front for money laundering, and are drug sellers and support terrorist groups, and prey on children and gambling addicts. So the US goverment believes glad Canada see's it different.

Internet Gambling Measure Reached

By Jonathan Weisman
Washington Post Staff Writer
Saturday, September 30, 2006;

House and Senate Republican leaders pushed hard to secure the Internet gambling measure, which some Republicans viewed as a chance to clear their names after they allowed disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff to scuttle a similar measure six years ago.

Proponents of the crackdown said the industry, which is mostly based overseas, provides a front for money laundering, some of it by drug sellers and terrorist groups, while preying on children and gambling addicts.
