That was one of the best games I've seen in years IMO.....

I've noticed hardly anyone is suggesting that this game was all that though....was this a game we will look back on as a great game in NFL history or not?

Awesome game. Very exciting.

It is rare that I can watch a game with no action on it anymore, but I sat glued to the TV in the 2nd half of the game and had no money at all on the game (I did have a matchup bet on New England -4 vs Chicago for the Superbowl...but very small).

I thought this was one of the best NFL games I had seen in quite some time.

I'm not really sure.

Tough question.

The game was definatly memorable.

If that was a classic, then so is Rams/Tampa.

It reminded me a lot of the game that is referred to as "The Fumble", except the team completed the comeback and got the victory. Ironically, the score at halftime in that game was 21-3 and got to 31-31 before Denver scored to make 38-31. So for me, the question is "Was it a better game than that one"? I think the teams were probably better yesterday, but the quality of game was too close to call.

I wonder if Indy still comes back had they not completed that 3rd and long before the half, to keep the ball and drive for a FG....little plays like that can really swing it...if NE gets the ball back they probably get atleast 3 more points.

That was a classic. Woooooh.

No action on it, and I thoroughly enjoyed the game.

The other similarity with Browns/Broncos game from Jan 1988 was that your ass hurt if you took the points.

They played a couple really memorable games back to back...I think this game will be more remembered if Indy gets the SB win.

Classic if you had the Colts. Jman you must've been on Indy hard as this is the 2nd time I heard you call this game a "classic". Probably been walking around with wood all day.

I myself had SD and NE:hump:

It was 65% classic/35% just another game.

As a non american, it's games like this makes you understand why NFL is the biggest thing in America. Great sport, great game.

One of my favorite parts of this site is that you get to hear perspectives from people in other countries of the world.

To me, the game ranked as a classic. It was a very compelling game, I was really surprised to see it play out like that.

I think it was a great game in a great situation (AFC Championship) which adds to it. Not sure where I would rank it or where it should be ranked though right now. It was a great one and a classic!

You could also argue that the Colts could've been left for dead after the refs got together and overturned the pass interference penalty in the endzone, thus forcing Indy to kick a FG instead of getting the TD.
