From the WSEX Website:
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=3 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=std-text vAlign=top>Instant transfer upon Moneybookers approval.
» Deposit Via Moneybookers </TD><TD class=std-text vAlign=top>$1,000 (30 day max)</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
As opposed to what they say regarding Neteller:
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=3 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=std-text vAlign=top>Instant if you already have funds in your NETeller account. If not, you must first set up and fund a NETeller account.
» NETeller Transfer Page</TD><TD class=std-text vAlign=top>No longer available to US gaming customers.
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
And Solidpay:
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=3 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=std-text vAlign=top>Instant once SolidPay account is funded.
» SolidPay Transfer Page </TD><TD class=std-text vAlign=top>No longer available to US gaming customers
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Sooooooooooo........since they specified that Neteller and SolidPay are not available to USA customers, and said nothing about Moneybookers......foolish me, but I assumed that a Moneybookers transaction would go through.
I sent a credit card payment to Moneybookers.....and it was accepted.....but when I went to deposit the funds at WSEX.....you guessed it......I got a message that this was not available for USA customers !!!
I called WSEX and the CSR agreed that the website is misleading and I think they will fix it.....and they are supposedly calling Moneybookers on my behalf to get them to cancel the CC deposit. I also sent an e-mail to Moneybookers. They do not have a toll free number.
I guess shit like this is going to be pretty common for awhile. Hopefully WSEX (a class act for the last decade) will take care of this. They do lose a few points for not keeping their website up to date......and a bunch more for still not having corrected it. Meanwhile I strongly advise US folks to steer clear of Moneybookers. They WILL accept your deposit !!! But they will NOT fund your offshore account with your money !!!<!-- / message -->
