fake/real superbowl tixx for my Xpensive gal

guys ...I'm Thinkn about goin down south and Takin my 400$ birthday Galfriend with Me to the beaches of miami for this year's superbowl...

2 problems ...

#1) How can U tell if I purchase A Superbowl ticket if Its Reel or Fake ???

#2) Is it Ok to Take the gal down and leave her on The Beach while I just purchase 1 ticket For myself or Do I have to shell out another 3 dimes for a ticket she wouldn't appreciate ?

i'm serious about the first problem so any help with Both problems would be greatly appreciated !

I will never shell out 3 G's for my g/f unless its gonna be an engagement ring. Shit, I take girls out to Bob Evans/McD's, etc spending only $10 on dinner and I still get that ass.

I am heading down to the game as well. Tickets from brokers are going for about 3 grand and up. Be VERY CAREFUL with craigslist, specifically someone with an email address katie909@googlemail.com. This person was trying to have me send money to some scam escrow company. As far as spotting fake tickets, Im not sure. I guess the old saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Let me know if you have any luck as I am still looking for the best price to get into the game.

Maybe cheaper or even a little more --- the market moves on demand. I've used them all ---- I know the tickets are real.

This might seem like a crazy suggestion, but why don't you ask her if she wants to go, or if she's okay with keeping herself busy while you attend the game?

ThanxDoc For the info.......I ran into a Similar Problem from a craigslist Guy named WARREN Who says he is in The UK n wants me To wire the money......UNFVCKNbelievable These Guys ! I tried Edstickets before n they r legite but askin close to 4 g for just one.

there's Gotta be somethin under 3 g , But How Can U Trust it Is The Main concern ....Wish I knew what To look for ??

Most liekely any seats you buy now will of the nosebleed variety which will make the experience less enjoyable for both but especially for a non fan (your lady). I would set her up at the hotel pool with some cash and make sure she still has access to your hotel room if she wamts to just nap or change, shower, whatever.

Scalping a single ticket should not be hard, natrually you are safer using one of the services MoneyManager mentioned but there is a chance to get a bargain if you wait until close to game time and scalpers start to get desparate. That is a crap shoot but hey we are all gamblers right. I would wait and if nothing turns up, I would have plan B ready which is to have already scouted out a decent watering hole in the area to watch the game on the big screen.

$400 and a hot girl won't get you a Superbowl ticket. Better hit a ATM or put her to work as soon as you get there. Prices will be more like $1500 and up.

Genuine tickets have a Super Bowl logo hologram on the back and a Super Bowl trophy on the front that has been punched so that the figure is raised up from the rest of the ticket.

Also, I wouldn't expect to see many or any scalpers near the stadium in the hours leading up to the game unless all of the ticket brokers have filled their orders. Every scalper I know (which is a number in the hundreds), sells seats that they pick up to brokers that are trying to fill orders (usually corporate orders). The amount that the brokers are willing to pay for a ticket sets the value of the ticket and scalpers have to buy tickets for a few hundred less than that amount in order to turn a decent profit. Once these broker orders are filled, the price plummets and scalpers start heading out of town.

Currently, I see a lot of people putting their seats up for sale on places like StubHub and EBay and they are asking more money than has ever been asked for a Super Bowl ticket. As a result, tickets aren't selling. Basically, I expect the market to go through an adjustment and the prices to drop a little until the brokers begin to panic (probably around Friday afternoon). At this point I don't see much middle ground for scalpers to make anything since noone is selling seats cheap enough.
