What would you do if in this situation?

I have a buddy who has about 25K in his Neteller account. About 5K is still in the "pending" phase of the EFT process that everyone else here should understand. Unlike me, he doesn't have the debit card. He applied for one about a week ago, but he still hasn't received the approval for it. If the EFT doesn't go through soon, I told him that he could do a peer-to-peer transfer to me and he could use my card and withdraw a G a day. He, however, really believes that Neteller has little to no chance of stiffing anyone. So he is reluctant to pay the 1.9% fee on his 20K, which amounts to $380, just to transfer it over to me. He is a scalper, so $380 is a lot of small scalps to him....

What would you do? Pay the transfer fee, or wait it out?

With the way things are now...If I could get my 20k by paying 380.00..I would do it in a heart Beat......You never know what may happen tomarrow

I wouldnt transfer the entire thing, but I would transfer some of it to ensure getting at least some of my cash.

I would transfer half of the money depending on how much he needs for gambling/living expenses. If the amount of money is making your friend nervous then take it out but, remember people said Pinnacle wouldn't go belly-up for u.s. bettors and they did. We as bettors don't know how much cash Neteller has yes they have payed in the past but, it doesn't mean payment in the future.

Yep 380/25000....about 1.5%....I definetly think the odds are greater than that you get stiffed.

Neteller limits transfers to $5K per transaction. I would do it in $5,000 per shot increments and keep taking out the $1K per day.

What sucks for my buddy is that I'm the only one he knows with a Neteller card and I still have about a month worth of daily withdrawals left before I can help him out.
