Damn dude, cut him some slack. It's his first tournament of the season, and he's shakin off some tournament rust on the front 9 of 72 holes. Tiger can turn things around quickly and everyone starts going backwards. See where he's at heading into Sunday then start worrying.

Playing at Torrey Pines???? Theres 2 courses there which they rotate on the first 2 days. The North is ALOT easier than the South (I have played them both). Have not look at the scoreboard but that could be factor.
He is playing the short(north)course and is now 4 under thru 13. In the 1997 Masters he shot 40 on his first nine, and won by 12. 72 holes is a marathon. Good Luck
