mentioning CC's that work, where payments are coming from, WU procedures, WU limits- 'names' , debit cards, banks , locations....all should be kept to ourselves as much as possible...it can only hurt now.

Understandable. If someone wants to know names of "friendly" banks, etc etc, I agree that a poster could email the other poster with that info; *NOT* to say out loud the name of any issuer/bank, etc etc.

But in situations where we are discussing a sponsored book's new withdrawals/deposit options (as in the thread I have related to Bodog), I think that's okay, right??

After all, "wrong eyes" will continue to go undercover and fund themselves into/out books anyway as that deposit/withdrawal information is public to everyone (via websites).

Calvin, I think yeah it's safe to discuss anything that's prominently displayed by one of the betting sites on their own site. What sparked this this morning was someone posting the issuer of a paper check. That's the kind of info that's not quite as easy for Uncle Hulka to get his hands on.

I think that this thread would be a good place, going forward, for people to bring to the Mods attention that they think sensitive info was posted in another thread so that it can quickly be edited out. (This as opposed to the Mods having to be on top of every post in every thread.)

Sound like a plan?

Hey guys, it looks like the "BetJam with new debit card" thread needs some serious editing. People have mentioned processor, where it's issued out of , etc. Can't believe that Scotty & Spiro want that - and, of course, it serves no good purpose.

The BetJamaica Debit card thread is fine. The Rx. does not care to and has no intention of over censoring it's posting body out of fear or panic. Common knowledge information like what books offer debit cards is not something that censoring here is going to keep secret on the rest of the internet.

Thanks, wil..

OK, Wil. I don't think it does harm to discuss the BJ has a debit card solution.

But, when you start mentioning the issuing institution of the card publicly in front of Uncle Hulka, just don't expect it to last too long.

Hope I'm wrong.

Did you have a previous Rx name?

Yeah, I am wondering about this as well, Paterno. Just because a new poster being outspoken and knowledgeable (i.e. "should this be sticky?") and seem to know who the moderators are... nothing wrong being done, just seems interesting if he/she is a new poster, that's all.

I did. Several years ago. Swore off this place during Ken's PanAm bullshit.

Still been reading, never posting.

Tough times make for strange bedfellows.

If you want to rake me over the coals for that, so be it.

Of course, with that being said, Wil you've still got some editing to do on both pages of the BetJam card thread. I believe "Objection"'s post is the first to mention the issuer. Several others do as well.

This is a very important post. Thank you. I was thinking to myself, if we post that a credit card works at this book we are fucking ourselves by publishing this information.
