DUKE, another home gift from the refs!

Refs add time and Duke wins on a shot with .01 on the clock, that should have never counted.

It won't matter in the big picture Duke is a slightly above average team, for Duke they suck...poor Clemson though, they were robbed.

Ugly Ugly game all around, Duke is one ugly team, of course they will get better but the are very SLOW :ughhh:

Two points about the last 5 seconds
#1-Timer is really to blame as he/she did not start it when Clemson player shot before the 3. However, this can NOT be corrected.
#2-refs put 4.4 on--I was thinking about 2.8 to 3.3 NO WAY 4.4 Refs saw the clock at 5.0--only .6 to shoot and hit a 3??
--ps-I am a Huge Duke fan and they are slow--but hey white men can't jump either

I guess the 40 straight minutes of Coach K berating, cursing, and abusing the refs paid off again.

F'n refs at Duke games are as crooked as the Nifong home craps game.

Yes indeed...

Pretty F'NG hillarious that they determined a made three point shot took only 6 tenths of a second...unreal...

Horrible defense by Clemson at the end...

But that clock adjustment showed that those refs have no grey matter to speak of...but what the hell...it simply followed suit for the way they called the entire game...:lol:

Duke is so hateable it is unreal. I do not really play favorites too much...just like to try to win...but hate Duke especially with that favorable ref treatment.

This is the worst Duke team I have seen in many years...probably since K went down with the back thing.

Paulis is so slow and 4 white boys on the floor at crunch time will not get it done, if this teams gets to the Sweet Sixteen I will be shocked.

That Duke has shot more Free throws then there opponents every single home game... I believe...

and in two road games they were out shot at the line.........

27-13 in one game
29-11 in another

and now that I think about it they have only played three true road games haha....

It's tough for the refs to blow the whistle with their collective tongues so far up Coach K's rectum. I'm surprised coach K's rug doesn't fly off when they refs all blow their whistes at once.

Two things:

1. Duke is young and they have some real good young players. THey will get better as the year goes on and watch em next year. North Carolina however looks like a step above right now. Williams has sick sick talent for like the second time in three years and can coach.

2. What really bothers me on Duke is coach K being such a phony. At home he will blast the refs nonstop and try to intimidate a lot. When he is in the tourney on on a big network game he does not do that. I have noticed this and could give specific examples. What a phony! You coach the same why regardless. You have enough of an edge at home without trying to intimidate everyone. Why hide on the road and on TV?

I like to look on the positive side of these things. It looks like a great betting opportunity as Duke will no doubt look over-rated allowing more points given for the other team. Clemson was at +6.5 for this one.

But I thought all you guys didn't believe that the refs would help 1 team on a givin night. Like this stuff never happens in America where everything is straight up!

American sports are the most phony of them all. Are any games called even for both teams in any league in this Country? Do the owners of the teams really need this?

I loved sports until I realized how phony it all is! And I do know players in the N.F.L. and the N.B.A and even those guys question how the leagues ref the games. And everyone of them said they had gotten ripped off by the refs in some college games too. They accepted it though.

You would have to be stupid not to with the kind of money they can make.
