$1500 withdrawal from BetCris by Money Gram, fee was $105....

Are these safe, I've heard stories of banks possibly rejecting checks so I figured Money Gram would be a safer option. Anyone have problems with Money Gram withdrawals before?

When can you pick it up BetNowThankLater?

CS Rep said it would take at the very maximum 7-10 business days to process, but it usually clears faster than that. And as soon as the funds are withdrawn from my account, I can contact them for a reference # that same day.

Are you OK with that? That seems ridiculous to me, especially for $105. I thought the actual transfer (on MoneyGram's end) took about 15 minutes! It's gonna take them a week to drive down to the agent with $1,500?

Looks like moneygram is out to make big bucks after NETeller is in trouble

Those aren't Moneygram fees. That is Cris making a nice profit on the withdrawal.

the fedex check for 60$ sounds more reasonable to me.

only thing with the Fed ex check from them is that they cant tell you how long it will take for you to receive it. For a top notch book for so long they certainly havent acted like one over the past week or so.They know the player is in a jam and theyre only making it worse for us. And furthermore i have a hrad time understanding why it takes them so long to do Moneygram?this is a process that should take an hour at the most.WTF is going on?

I don't know what's going on, this is panic mode for most books as they are closing their doors to US customers. I just want to get my money out just in case, and I'm willing to pay an exorbitant fee to do so.

The large fee is due to paying a 3rd party processor fee. Atleast that is the case with Bet Mania. Probably true for most books at the moment. Moneygram has to be ecstatic about the huge increase in business in the last couple of weeks.

other books arent taking advantage of the players to the extent that CRIS is. the Greek has been doing a fine job handling this and now offer that debit card through Bet Jamaica.

Just checked MG fees from US to CR $9.99

Not sure the price from CR back to US, but I would think it's not a big difference.
I'm done with CRIS. Dicking around with people during panic mode.

Ask your book if they pay the MG fee to deposit. Some do.

rdc and freebie are right...CRIS is not very understanding regarding these payout fees...very much a rip-off right now...

My guess is trying to prevent run on the bank more than deferring costs or trying to make money on fees.

My free Fed Ex from Bodog just arrived.
