I'm in the US. Is there a special prepaid Visa that will work for funding my account or will any of the prepaid Visa cards work at Pokerstars? Any information anyone has would be great.

Then don't I have to worry about VISA selling me out and handing over my info to the feds as to where I am depositing money?

Can I sign up for one of these cards with a bogus name and head to the bank and load money onto it? Does the bank require ID to load the card?

I did read that post a day ago but was still unsure. I'll check it out tomorrow. Do they sell those at just Walgreens?

Legend-I-Aint,

Depends where your located, they have them at Grocery store chains, Gas Stations, convenience stores, Drug Stores, etc. I've never tried to use these at Pokerstars , but they work great at Betmania. Here you can punch in your zip code and find where they are located:

You can't use a phony name as it has to match your poker or sports book account. Are you paranoid or something? These cards are in a foreign country as are the poker rooms. Who do you think they are giving information to?

You don't need any ID to purchase these cards. If you're that paranoid, just purchase the disposable card...although you have to register it with the allaccess site anyhow. Might as well get the permanent one with your name on it for 10 bucks and a $2 reload fee.

On the disposable card, it says you can register it by adding a name and address - for online purchases, but there is no need to, I've used it without registering it and it goes through with no problems.

Thanks, you have all been helpful. I can get one at Safeway and give it a try. Most of you probably don't live in Washington state and have a bitch female governor who would like nothing more than to make a name for herself by popping a few degenerate on-line gamblers in the clink.

Am I paranoid? No. Do I want to take precautions? Yes.

Thanks again!

I here ya buddy..im in Louisiana where we have the same thing....a DEMOCRAT woman govenor who wants online gamblers jailed but murdering 4000 people because you know they wont vote for you if they evacuate the state is just a 'political' move....
They can just blame it all on Bush cus God knows he's responsible for everyting anyway.....did you know candy bars have gotten smaller again??? Goddamn Bush cronies in the candy industry just trying to get rich before he leaves and the DEMS bring back the huge Snickers bars we all love...
