budget suites in probably ur best bet if u cant afford hotel prices for a month...

This is probably your best bet. There are 2 of them on Tropicana, not far from the strip. (about $200 per week)

Stay off of Trop its a hookers paradise over there and go onto Paradise and the budget suites. A little better area with some amenities near by.

I would say to look into the Budget Suites and other suite hotels on Boulder Highway. First of all, if you're going to be betting, you have a straight shot down Boulder Hwy to access about 7 sportsbooks. If you don't have your own car, just hop aboard one of the buses. One of the BS is right across from Sam's Town who has bus shuttles to all around town for free. Will take you to the strip and downtown.

Seems to me that Boulder Hwy is your best bet. You have Boulder Station, Arizona Charlies-East, Sams Town, Nevada Palace. After that you have a few small casinos that might use LEROYS although i"m not sure! further down off Sunset you have Sunset Station and the the Fiest Henderson. You also have some small casinos in Henderson that are hooked up to the Boyd group like Jokers Wild and Eldorado. You also have Green Valley Ranch nearby. I'm sure this would be an area that would suit your needs as it has plenty of convenience stores, supermarkets, including a Super Wal Mart store, and gas stations. Check it out.

There are a ton of places that are about $600/month short term... a few blocks off the strip. Just go out there and walk around.. There are some places near the Hard rock if you like ass for about 800-1000

check out http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/

look in the housing section...lots of low priced choices

I have been thinking of moving out there myself.
<table class="w2" summary="housing" cellspacing="1" width="100%"><tbody><tr><th class="ban"></th></tr><tr><td><table class="w2" summary="housing" cellspacing="1" width="100%"><tbody><tr><th class="ban"></th></tr><tr><td></td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table>

What's up max? I am out in LA again. Moving to vegas????! Sounds like a blast, but be carefull with all the temptations! Let me know if you are around this way...I am planning on going to vegas the first week of march madness. If you are out there by then, we should meet up.

Hope all is well.

good to hear from you

yes ...I have been looking into moving out to Vegas..

I am going to wait a few months to see how this offshore mess plays out..I am sure there will still be many offshore sportsbooks out there but getting money in and out may be too difficult....if thats the case I might make the move or look into using a runner.
I used a runner around 5 years ago ...but the guy ended up stiffing me for 5 large....so maybe I will hook up with one of our Las Vegas RX brothers and see if they know of any reliable runners/contacts.

for sure lets try to hook up in Vegas...first part of March sounds good...are you bringing your wife or going solo?...if you bring the wife I can bring my Girlfriend and they can hang out while we watch some games and bet on sports..or/and maybe hit a club or just drink and gamble all night like we did the last time we all hooked up...that was a blast.

hope everything is going well

Max -

I hear you on the frustrations, I hope we dont find ourselves talking about the good old days when you could line shop, get reduced juice and move our $ around. Really hoping the dust settles and business returns to normal.

For vegas, we are looking at the first weekend of march madness. The wife is fired up and coming, so by all means, bring your lady if you come out! She is always down for a club, sitting by the pool (if it is warm enough) or just hanging out. She also likes watching the games...it always cracks me up when she gets all fired up and starts calling players pussies and whatnot...haha.

Let's keep in touch and see if we can make this work. Got anything you like in the NBA today?

Thanks jeff. Let's try and meet up for sure during march madness. If things keep going in the direction they have been offshore, there might be a lot of us heading to vegas for march madness, hopefully we can all meet up.

take care

That sounds great..I think the first weekend for march madness is March 9th -10? ....is that what weekend you are looking at?

Jeffksu

i think thats a great idea..maybe we can start a new thread and try too have a mini rx bash(unathorized of course)... we could all get together at one of the major sportsbook..I think alot of us at the RX would like to get together and discuss our current betting situation outside of the forums...I for one would like to hear any and all ideas on what we can do to keep "getting down" and the Vegas sportbetting scene.
