That is unfair, VIP has a large satisfied customer base, and to my knowledge never have had no pay or slow pay problems. They are what they are and deal to a certain clientle but they are not trash.
Books operate the way they do because they feel that is what will make them sucessful. I would rather see a book refuse wise guy action, large wagers, charge for withdrawals, and and all of the other things that are unpopular with mosts posters but by doing so they stay solvent. Books that take risks and book all comers at any amount while giving away the store with to good to be true bonuses or not moving a number correctly to attract deposits only to go broke because of that kind of mismanagement and end up stiffing their entire player base are what none of us need to see. VIP is not going to hurt anyone, you don't like them don't play there, same with BODOG, Hollywood, 5Dimes and all the rest. I respect a book if operates within it's capabilities and not beyond them.

Speaking about customer service in general (not just VIP) I don't understand why some books don't do better than they do. Most everyone knows the books that have great customer service, and others that have good CS and those books are all the better off because of that, but there is little excuse for poor CS. IMHO you have to start at the top and have a highly qualified director, or chief of customer service and go from there. I know top notch people are hard to come by and are going to demand a decent weeks pay but in the long run great CS will make a book money and poor CS will lose a book a lot more than what it cost to pay the best people available.
I could go on and on about this subject but I think you get my point.
