Jackson is good!

But Duerson owns.

Chicago, that one slant play to the TE and Dave Duerson, cant touch it.
If he picks it, it's a score. If you throw his way, you arent getting anything.
If you pick the TE slant play, you still cant stop it.

We used to play that version non-stop. I cant think of a more fun time in my life than hanging with my 4 closest friends at my friends apartment, drinking beer, eating frozen pizzas, and playing Tecmo night after night. It seems funny now but we were super competitive and we would keep records of all games and we would constantly acuse each other of cheating by trying to see the other person's play selection.

The football games quickly advanced with Madden on Sega and clearly Temco is no match from a pure gameplay standpoint. However, there was something insanely fun about Temco that future games did not capture imho.

this comment is so true. that play is unstoppable. the bears are unstoppable. tecmo bowl is the shit.

There are actually Tecmo Super Bowl leagues on the net that people play using NES emulators and connecting to one another thru tcp/ip. They have fully updated rosters, drafts, complete stats, everything.

What was funny was on the kickoff the guy went back to the 1 yard line and then went out of bounds.

That one took up the whole quarter!!

I have never played TecmoBowl, but it is taht easy to memorize what the computer will do?
