Would that be a momentum trader? Follows trends?

Like I said earlier i don't know the terminology of the stock market so not sure how to explain this to a buddy.

Was trying to explain the similarities to a buddy of mine with stocks and sports and if a guy follows the steam in sports than what kind of investor (if there is a name, not 100% sure) would you say he is in the market?

A Fartaromo

If he is creating the steam then the flip side could be that he is an insider trader ... knows something before the market does.
