My bank does not accept checks from sportsbooks and WSEX only pays out in checks

Well here is the problem.

I withdrew everything from Pinny, 5DIMES, Cris and Betjam and OLYMPIC once all this stuff started hitting the fan.

I am now about as casual of a sports better is it gets now.

I only have an account at WSEX/MATCHBOOK and nobody else.

I bank with CHASE, the most unfriendly sports transaction bank in the world.

And I also just found out that the only way to recieve a payout from Matchbook is to get a cashiers check.

I found out that my ECHECK fiasco problem with POKERSTARS had more to do with my bank then the new laws. Pokerstars is finding creative ways to get those last day deposits from customers that used ECHECK the last day it was avaliable, but there was no hoops that they could jump through to get my money.

I dont even know why I have money in WSEX right now. How im I going to withdrawl the money without changing banks?

Thats my question. Does anyone have any ideas.

Why would your bank care if it were a posrtsbook check? And how would they know? Most of the checks dont exactly say sportsbook on them

So you are not betting that much on a nightly basis CHOP? Personally, I am probably betting than usual right now on a nightly basis

there are check cashing places that take a small fee or something....I dont know much about them but you will be able to get your money and someone else can tell you more about these places

Dump Chase and find a real bank. They're not the only bank on the planet.

Just open up a checking account at another bank, takes 15 minutes or at a credit union.

I never use check cashing places, but I wouldnt think that they would accept the checks FOR SURE! How do they know that it is a good check? I mean you can make checks on your computer and people try that sort of shit all of the time at these places.

I think that almost all banks cash the checks, but they will SURELY put a 10 day hold on the funds and that is understandable

Bank accounts are free CHOPPER, just get another bank. And almost ANY CREDIT UNION debit card works at 80% of sportsbooks and pokerrooms

Those places are highway robbery.

Plus im not the type to make withdrawls when I get on a hot streak.
Im a buy and hold type player.

Example, 5Dimes has been my all-time whipping boy.

I made 1 deposit about 4 years ago, and made my first and only withdrawl of my life over there a few weeks ago when I cashed out 100%.

It was for more than 30X what I deposited.

I dont make withdrawls hardly ever.

I withdrew a ton of money right after hurricane Katrina, and I withdrew a ton of money a few weeks ago. Other than that, I never withdrawl.

when the day comes that I want to withdrawl, its going to be for a sum of money that no mom and pop check cashing center will ever cash.

Yes I know, I have to change banks, but hate being told what to do on things like this.

Chase is a good bank for the most part other than this.

I have all my banking and bills and computer programs set up to chase. It took years for this setup.

I think if I open another checking account at another bank for the sole purpose of cashing foreign cheeks, that would look even worse.

I guess I will burn that bridge when I get there.

You are right CHOP! I never request small payouts either. But you dont need to worry about ANY STORE other than a bank cashing these checks. Those MOM and POP stores would be STUPID to even give someone 30% of the value of a check that is oversees or from a different state.

Think about it, you can create your own checks at home!

I didnt say cut off chase, just open another account at a credit union. Most people have AT LEAST 2 banks anyway. I have 3 including a credit union.

Chase wont even know that you have accounts elsewhere anyway.

By the way, WHAT EXACTLY did the bank say when you tried to cash the checks? I have NEVER been questioned on ANY check from a book. I just had to wait 5 days for check clearance before I could use the funds

Just do a sportsbook transfer to another book where you can withdraw after rolling it over.

I've been told multiple times that the checks I'm waiting on from Matchbook will be issued from a US bank. How would your (or my) bank know the source?

Today I requested 2 checks from 5 Dimes and also bank at Chase. Should I change my payout before Monday morning or see what happens when I try to deposit. Also does the sportsbook refund you if you cannot deposit the check

My thinking is that you would be tagged with "money Laundering" QUICKER at one of those so called check cashing places than a bank. No idea--just looks fishy from the start.
