Slowly but surely it looks like they are putting together a good lineup down there. If their pitching holds up and they get some bullpen help, I can see some good things happening next year. Where are some good futures and over/under wins bets to find with books US citizens can still play with?

You may laugh now Viking but it looks like they may win more games than the Cards won last year in their World Series run. I see a down year for the Cards. Checking MLB.com and they have Wood in the bullpen :ughhh: ????

Yes, I honestly think the Cubs are going to win there first WS since 1908.

Kerry Wood is going to be a real difference maker in the closer role. They have some bigtime pop in the lineup. If Zambrono and Prior can both pitch a full season, they run away with the division by AUG 1st.

The addition of RP/SP Neal Kotts will pay big dividends............at least they improved themselves in one area.

So where can I get good odds from now? 5Dimes has +1700 or something but I don't think I'm gonna play there anymore. Any suggestions?

so long as the comments include "If Prior and Wood can just" you can be 1000% sure nothing has changed. theyll finish 4th or so in their division

There is the big problem...where do you feel comfortable enough to play a future bet that won't pay for close to a year with the way the industry is right now. I would trust Greek, BetJam, Cris, but that doesn't do much for line shopping.

I know and that is the dilemma I'm facing even CRIS and WSEX from what I saw doesn't have MLB futures up. I wish I was closer to Vegas now because one of my connects has moved or I would get down there and feel more comfortable doing so.

Man!!! Look at how many left-handed bats the Cubs have at their disposal next year including Marquis!

It's still like that? Will you guys ever let him off the hook for that gaffe? LOL

It's like me still being mad at Brian Billick for being an arrogant, pompous no playcalling, conservative douchebag who cost us a chance to go to the Super Bowl this year. For some reason that felt better saying that.

save your money.

IF the Cubs get to a place where IF Woods and Prior can stay healthy and blah, blah blah with those two false "superstars", it is just frosting on the cake because they have enough to be a legit contender even without a big contribution from those 2, THEN take them seriously.

So long as they are DEPENDING on these two, which they are, you can be 1000% certain the Cubs will disappoint. They DO NOT have the pitching to make a run this year.
