Has anyone tried to do this over a full basketball season? NBA or college? If so , how did you do?

I was curious as to what % you would hit if you faded guys like Stu Feiner, Brandon Lang, Jim Feist, etc......

I don't think it is a wise strategy...my guess is they would be right in the 47-53% range so you can't make money with them or fading them.

That is what I was thinking.....However, I'm sure there are a lot of them clinging to around 40-42%!

Talking about steaming a game as Iceman has in another thread(though I define steam differntly than Ice does),these touts steam games all the time.

They will release a play and then steam the line, meaning they will dump on the game and thier clients will see the line move and hurry on thier play moving the line yet again and then the touts buy it back the other way doubling thier origianal bet.

And when they do this they are usually in cahots with a fellow tout.

Sometimes I wonder about Dr.Bobs plays and the sudden line movement?

Why fade touts when there are plenty of lousy cappers right here to fade.

A few right in this thread...

You're exactly right. The same things that hurt a touts record is the same reason why (according to my friend at a book) the average gambler reloads 5-7 times a football season. They pick more than 50% winners, but the bet size (money management) buries them.

10,000 Dime Big Nike Shoe-In Of the Week should be the same as 500,000 Iron Clad Superstar Diamond Pick. Toutspeak for sure - but really no different than someone following a capper in the NFL forum and betting $200 or some plays and $6500 on others. Bad idea long term.

There isn't much glamor in flat bet records - and impossible to "tout" - but we all know thats where the money is made.

not possible. they don't have enough cash or respect to be able to do that.
