If I go buy a visa gift card, can I recieve a withdrawl from a sportsbook? If so, how much?

If I sign up for EPASSPORTE, and I have never made a deposit, can I still make a withdrawl?

One poster said Pokerstars will do this, will sportsbooks do it?

There is no answer to any of my questions at the respective websites.

I want to get down to the bear min balance everywhere until JUN1 or so.

I hate reading these NETELLER stories, I dont want to be a part of that.

Thanks to some great advice from Sean1 and a few others, I was able to avoid the Neteller mess just in time, with a combination of withdrawing early, and sending money to WSEX instead of sending the money to my bank account.

But now I have all my money in the WSEX family. I feel safe there, but I can already see, that I need to get some of that money back.

I dont want to use a cashier check, which is what WSEX uses exclusivly. It would require me to open up a new bank account. I would hate for my first transaction at a new bank to be a cashier check from a foreign country.

Chop I've recieved alot of checks from books and only maybe 2 were foreign...and those were from Canada. I've also deposited 3 big checks in the last two weeks with BankofAmerica and no hassles...just tossed em in the ATM.

Not sure why you are having a problem or stressing over this:ughhh:

If you don't want to open up a new account just go down to a check cashing place in the ghetto...they'll be relieved you're a normal guy and will cash it for you without any problems. Guaranteed. Of course they'll take 2%....

I've received checks before that were from Belize or somewhere.

I have heard that Chase is sending all cashiers checks from sportsbooks back to sender.

The poker forums have many threads on this subject.

I am not sure how they would even know that it was a sportsbook check nor why they would care. Your local branch must be a little strange.

Also, bucs your new bank couldnt care less where your first deposit comes from. They wont say a word guaranteed! Now if it is over $10,000, then they would fill out a CRT form.

Alot of checks from online pokerrooms actually come from Florida or at least banks in Florida. And the poker room's name is NO WHERE TO BE SEEN

So 2% is what the check cashing places charge? I was curious about that even tho I plan on depositing in my bank or credit union (credit union is that a bad idea??)

If gambling is that important to you, find a new bank. Otherwise, be patient, and see how everything plays out.
