I swear to you.

I just opened an account at EPASSPORTE to try and figure out a way to withdrawl some money, and the Chase fraud department gave me a call asking me if the 2 small deposits that EPASSPORTE made into my account to confirm my bank account were legit.

I said yes they were.

Then the guy on the phone said: We know that you are using these people for gambling transactions, and he said it in a very condesending way. Almost being rude to me.

He told me dont expect to be able to use this method for very long.
He knew what they were for, without me making a single transaction.

I would tell them to FO and find a different bank soon. Personally, for gambling purposes I use a smaller bank. They are less likely to cause a stink about it, cause they just want the business.

I learned awhile back to stay far away from certain banks................CITIBANK and CHASE being two of them.

Good sends a clear cut message. Americans want to gamble. And if politicials try to stand in our way, they will be voted out!

They will not be voted out, the government will put a stop to anything they want to. Americans have let rights slip away when it does not effect them, this is just another example but this time it is effecting you. Do you really think Joe Shmo out there gives two shits about online gambling? No. The government will take out rights that only effects a small portion of society until every faction of society is going without certain basic rights. It is everyones fault for not caring about other issues. You can't save just one freedom, you must save them all. For you turning a blind eye to all the rights of others that have slipped away, now you are paying the price.

I used Epassporte a few times with BOA. The BOA fraud department called me each time I used the account as well as blocked epassporte. I just tell them I authorize the charge and then everythign was fine.

This was over a year ago. This is common practice and its nothing new that they learned. For some reason BOA flags any charges to epassporte...

Really? According to a Wall Street Journal report in June of last year 85% of Americans polled (at random) thought that Internet Gambling should NOT be banned.

This is good to hear! Though its odd, you would have thought Neteller would have been questioned as much or more than Epassporte

Tell them to fuck off and mind there own business. You can use epassporte to buy something or whatever. It's an online credit card... so what if you can fund a account with it... You can also use it buy whatever u want...

These bitch ass mofos got no right to be lecturing customers on what to do with there loot... Next time if they bring it up just ask that person if its chase customer service policy to accuse there customers of doing something illegal without any proof?

I thought it was strange + there was 5% fee that I did not dig so I stopped using them... But I can tell you the 3 times that I used the epassporte each time it was flagged and I called BOA and they fixed it.

Again this was over a year ago...

Often times people approve of the government taking away their rights (US Patriot Act), and sometimes they don't approve of the government taking away their rights (Gambling ban). You'd be surprised how often people willingly give up precious rights.

I guarantee you that they were given instructions from the DOJ to monitor these transactions to find out which way the public was now going to use to deposit money so they can then pick on them in whatever way possible.

I guess the DOJ isn't going to take this shit lightly and is going to keep pressuring the sources since they can't get to us.

Interesting. I'm with BOA, and they also called me after my initial transaction. I was told that the back to back transactions(deposit & verification amounts) looked irregular, so it was flagged. I asked specifically if there was a problem with the vendor, because I was going to use them to send money to my daughter in college(which is partially true, I just send a check now, but may use EP). He told me no, not that he was aware of. Just the multiple transactions back to back got it flagged, and I should have no problem in the future.

Time will tell. It will be interesting the next deposit I make to see if it gets flagged again, because it will only be a single transaction.
