Is this Colts team better than last years Steelers? Probably no considering last years Colts were a little better and the Steelers beat them.

And this years Bears vs last years Seahawks? I would rate the NFC teams about even.

Since last year Super Bowl should have seen an NFC cover, it would seem the points are the way to go again this year....I just can't seem to put my money on Grossman, I still may...

This year's teams aren't anywhere close to last year's IMO. Colts have no defense and the Bears are iffy on both offense and defense at times.

The NFC was weak and overrated (Saints) and the AFC team who had the best chance (SD) blew it with idiotic mistakes.

Not taking anything away from the Super Bowl teams this year since they did what it took but I think last year' Pittsburgh team would beat both of these squads by 10+ in the playoffs. SD this year would blow out both of them as well in the playoffs.

I think the level of play has steadily dropped since the college kids started leaving early to go pro. Think about it, they are not ready. With a salary cap, they are often drafted early and have to play to justify the salary slot. Loot at the play in the NBA, just brutal.

I think the NBA is actually getting better again....bottoming out about 3 years ago, the league appears to be slightly improved and there is a lot of new real talent.

Didn't Pittsburgh beat Indy last year when Indy's defense wasn't swiss cheese?

Yeah, the '06 Chargers could be the Super Bowl Champs if they had a real head coach.

Yes, the Steelers beat the Colts last year, but let's admit it... there's a reason the Colts were a DD favorite in that game. The Colts were a better team that year, and they're a better team this year than that Steelers team was. That being said, I think the Bears are going to win this game... doesn't mean that they're a better team than the Colts. Just a gut.

In comparing this year's Bears to last year's Seahawks... man, I don't know... Seems pretty dang close to me. I think I give a SLIGHT edge to this Bears team, but Seattle had a such an advantage at the key positions of QB and RB over this Bears team, it's not even funny...

Pitt last year peaked at the end of the year. They got hot at the right time and rolled. THey were tough on their playoff run for sure. Also lucky to not play the Patriots who own them in a big way. I agree nod goes to Pitt as Indy defense is not good...they beat two weak teams and needed 40 to beat the Pats. NFC I lean to Seattle being better.....

Pittsburgh was the hotter team on through the playoffs last year much like Indy is this year. Everything has just fallen into place for them.

Indy D sucked all year but has come out of nowhere in the playoffs......they will keep the sorry Bears O at bay on Sunday.......The Bears need to come after Manning b/c whenever he is under constant pressure he wilts much like any QB....the key is to come up with a scheme to do this much like Pittsburgh did last year...even then he still almost won the game for them.

My problem is that superior defenses seem to win out come superbowl time over high powered offenses...i.e....Tampa Bay/ Oak a few years ago and Pitt/ Sea for that matter last year. I like the Bears + the points for sure, but I still think this is Indy's year and the NFL will get Peyton his ring.

After last year I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Colts got the key cvalls if the game were close....It's a shame to even think that but after last year how can you not...Peyton Manning is by far the NFL's most recognized player.
